These Web 2.0 thingies … I can write about them but am less adept at manipulating them. Still learning how to get the photos in the right format to make downloading them easy.
Getting them off the camera is something of a miracle in itself and then they need to re sized, translated into mobile packages that can easily travel.
This blog is hosted somewhere in the world – one assumes the US but it could be anywhere – every time I add something or you look at it the thing zaps off and ties all the bundles of my house and family together to make this story renderable. This is at once mundane in the world of connected interwebs and extra-ordinary in the world of concrete everyday mundanity.
I notice that most blogs use Flickr etc . and tend not to embed photos. There may be something in that. I will ask my mate Kate.
Also, Firefox has a spell check add-on. Very useful! Someone installed it on my work PC for me.
